Sat down at 11:05, ordered at 11:11. First plates came at 11:48. We watched as people who sat down 30 minutes after us with equal to ours or larger parties get food faster. There was a shift change at some point and the waiter we ended up with was unfriendly and hostile. He was in a rush- so much that he poured water so carelessly that he didn’t notice it all spilled into our Brussels sprouts. The company I was with asked I not call attention to it, but we still had to flag him down to explain our time crunch to catch a show and asked how much longer it would be for the rest of the meal. His answer was “what do you want me to do about it”. Clearly the guy was either having a bad day or just doesn’t want to be here. We had to specifically ask to ask the kitchen how long it would be, he came back reluctantly with an answer. The table next to us also complained about his attitude. As for the interior, decor is pretty but needs cleaning (see photo). Not pleasant sitting right below it. Had high hopes, food is otherwise fine - avoid raw bar items. Regardless, not good enough to put up with the troubles. Unlikely to come back or recommend to others.

Service = outstanding!!! Design = love it. Love the building in general Food = I got French Toast two decadent for me, I also got the cheesy biscuit. I did not taste cheese at all. We got the black kale salad and shared it, and I thought that was the best out of all the dishes I should mention I got the rum drink, and that was very good We did have to move tables because we sat under the sunroof inside and there were so many flies flying around because they have plants up top of that and that’s where the main light is so I guess the flies were attracted to it

We had brunch at Superba and honestly, what a perfect way to spend a Saturday. While waiting for our mains, we kicked things off with a warm cinnamon bun—super fluffy with just the right touch of orange zest. Couldn’t resist trying the banana bread too (they’re known for their baked goods), and yep, totally lived up to the hype. There were eight of us, so we shared a bunch of dishes. The Farmers Market Crudité “for two” was super fresh and came with tasty dips—definitely enough for the whole table. I went for the Moroccan breakfast, and it was a full-on feast: eggs, pancakes, olives, cheese, mint tea, and OJ. Not a crumb left. The albacore tuna melt was next-level, especially with the house-made chips. Oh, and the fruit on the side? Peak flavor. Best part—when the manager, Ahkara, found out we were celebrating a birthday, she surprised us with two massive slices of cherry pie, topped with vanilla ice cream and a candle. Such a sweet (literally) and thoughtful touch. The vibe is just as good as the food. The outdoor patio is gorgeous, with whitewashed walls, iron details, colorful tile floors, and bright red bougainvillea. Super cute, super chill—can’t wait to go back.

The atmosphere is top notch with just a beautiful rustic feel inside and a lovely garden patio outside. It feels very removed from its location on Sunset in a good way. Service was OK - everything seemed out of sorts and things were forgotten, but I’ll give a pass due to the oven situation. Even though we got only cold items, everything was delicious and the bread was amazing. Can’t wait to go back and get the full experience!
