came here for ayce lunch on a sunday, which i thought was decent value. i liked that their menu had some fun dishes, like the carpaccio. i also liked that they let you choose 3 pieces of sashimi for every roll ordered. i felt like a lot of fish we were served was a bit warm in temperature, which made it feel less fresh. salmon was excellent - fresh and cool. yellowtail unfortunately tasted fishy. service was quick and friendly, but i’m still not sure i’d come back to this particular sushi nova location when the lincoln park location is a short bus ride away from the loop

We did the all-you-can-eat menu and enjoyed a wide variety, including signature rolls, nigiri, spicy tuna roll, tuna avocado tartare, mochi, and banana tempura. The presentation was beautiful and the staff was friendly. The signature rolls were a bit too sweet for my taste, and the nigiri and tartare were served slightly warm, which made them feel less fresh, though they didn’t taste fishy. Overall, it was a good experience and worth trying if you’re hungry and want variety.

Sushi Nova is a great spot for sushi lovers. I ordered the Crab Rangoon, Haru Maki, Angry Dragon Roll, Volcano Roll, and some perfectly crispy tempura — everything was fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. The rolls had a great balance of texture and taste, the appetizers were delicious, and the tempura was light and not greasy at all. The staff were really nice and attentive, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it a nice place to enjoy a casual meal with friends or family. Overall, a solid place for sushi in Chicago, and I’d be happy to come back.

If you’re in Chicago’s Old Town and love sushi, you have to check out Sushi Nova. The service is top-notch—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The sushi selection is incredible, with everything from super fresh sashimi to creative specialty rolls that look as good as they taste. It’s a great spot whether you’re a sushi purist or like to try something a little different. The ambiance is modern but relaxed, making it perfect for date night or a casual dinner with friends. And if you’re not in the city, they also have a location out in the suburbs, so you can still get the same great experience without the downtown drive. Definitely a new favorite!

Was excited to see an AYCE sushi spot open up closer to where we live! Checked it out for the first time on a weeknight date and had an awesome experience. Immediately dug the atmosphere as soon as we walked in. The sushi was delicious—usually I would ask for a side of sauces, but was totally not necessary as everything was already flavorful. Our server, Hendry, was phenomenal! Very attentive, very friendly, he took really good care of us. Totally seeing this becoming our new go to place for all you can eat sushi!
