Really great sushi AYCE sushi spot! I love the fact that they provide the same menu for dinner and lunch! (Some spots will limit it based off the time of day) They have great regular and special rolls! Their fire dragon is to die for! The kitchen was super fast at pushing out dishes, everything was delicious! Down side was how unkept the floors were all over not just our booth. We did have to ask for an item repeatedly that was placed at the start of the order only to be provided as the last item and a very grainy textured tuna that had an off flavor to it.

This is definitely one of the best hotspots for All You Can Eat (AYCE) sushi in Logan Square, Chicago! This restaurant has not only a wonderful staff, but also a wonderful ambience. Their menu is outstanding as the selections are great at fair prices, especially the AYCE sushi is only $31.99 w/ a huge variety to choose from. The overall quality of their sushi rolls are excellent! Also, they’re very precious & accommodating when it comes to food allergies in which they’ll go out & beyond to prepare your meals w/o any cross-contamination based upon special requests/demands. I highly recommend Sushi Taku to anyone as a go-to joint for any occasion!

Great spot for all-you-can-eat sushi! The staff are very friendly and attentive. The Logan Square location is more comfortable than the Wicker Park location.

This is a very good AYCE especially if you have a fairly good appetite. Be aware that on weekends, the “dinner” ayce price is in effect even during the lunch hour at a rate of $32 pp (as of March 2025). With that said, it was worth the price since you can get many different signature maki rolls, nigiri and appetizers. Everything was very good but I wanted to highlight 2 items on this menu that was surprising to me as an ayce item. I dont go to many ayce, so maybe I am a bit naive, but Ive never seen these on ayce items included at this price. First is the sashimi salad. There is plenty of chunks of fatty salmon and tuna drizzled with an aioli sauce. This is like a poke bowl sans the rice and all the other trimmings (eg edamame, ponzu, etc). But it was satisfying and fresh. The other is the fried soft shell crab (ssc) appetizer with tempura sauce. I have only been to one other ayce that had this on their menu but was conveniently “out of stock” at time of my dining. Never returned there again!! But this ssc was nicely fried and reminded me of one of my favorite sushi spots in the North Shore I used to frequent and order this every visit. I definitely recommend this app. Overall, the offerings were excellent! The staff was attentive and friendly. The space was clean and inviting. Will be my new place if craving an ayce sushi & apps.

Went to this place to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Waiting time depends on how late is your reservation and how many are you. We are 10. Compared to other AYCE sushi restaurants, they gave us an order sheet that will be shared by 2. Quite surprisingly to be honest. But then we understand how it goes. They don’t bring a big order that will confuse their guests on which one we ordered. I find their system well organized. We love their sushi because they don’t put too much rice on it. In that manner you won’t get easily be full which means you can try their other variants. No limits when it comes to their Nigiri. Food was delivered fast which surprised us too. Their branch is well cleaned, maybe there’s a little crumbs over here and there which is understandable since it’s a busy night. Lightnings and ambience is ok too. Rest rooms are clean. There are only few things I want to point out: 1. They don’t offer refillable or it was not just offered to us. 2. They don’t have enough space in the waiting area. We waited outside but needed to go inside because it’s humid. And there’s only 3 chairs available. 3. Was not asked what option we can be seated. Which for most part they can give us 2 separate table and not wait long. 4. When we started singing a birthday song while we are carrying a big box of gift, none of their staff went to us and gave a complimentary cake or something. Maybe you need to tell them if you will be celebrating something. But personally for me, it’s initiative to the management and staff at least go there and greet the celebrant. 5. When we got our bill everything was on full price, was not asked how many kids we have which obviously we got 2. Other than that we were greeted and served well. Constantly refilling out water and asked us if we want to order more.
