I feel obligated to share what I wish I had known before going to Tai Chi Association. I took private lessons for several months under Master Cheng. The actual lessons themselves were very good. You will learn a lot. The Roswell location is very clean and nice. HOWEVER, I would recommend exercising caution if you are a woman. Keep in mind that you are going alone to someone who is much more versed in using and manipulating energy than you likely are. There will likely be cultural differences as well. I would defiantly not recommend sending your daughter here for the same reason. In addition, it is AT YOUR OWN RISK to pay in advance for lessons. You will not be refunded should something go amiss and you do not feel comfortable returning. Others may have a very different experience but this was mine. Be careful!

The Tai Chi Association is the best school in Atlanta to learn traditional tai chi and kung fu. Master Cheng is a very experienced teacher and has been teaching there since 1972. The school is friendly and happy to have new students. You will get a unique experience here by training in traditional methods. The teachings come directly from China and have not been watered down as it is at many other schools here. If you have an interest in either tai chi or kung fu then you should definitely try the Tai Chi Association's classes.

I have been training in Kung-fu with Master Cheng for many years. It is a traditional kung fu school, concentrating on conditioning and fighting. The workout is intense!
