We really liked this place! We ordered the sampler for an appetizer and it comes with salsa, guacamole, elote, and queso. 10/10. Taqueria 27 is ALWAYS a win. we came In the perfect time. The food was cruising out of the kitchen as it got busier but it’s just always the best. We had the nacho fries with carne, pork belly taco and the duck confit taco. Enjoyed a blackberry bourbon smash to round it all out. Incredible. Hands down. Always.

Food was delicious but expensive. If you get tacos, your paying 12 for just 2 tacos! That's a lot to me. You can order rice and beans for an extra charge. They did have a kids menu and the kiddos liked their meal.

We enjoyed our meal for an early dinner. We ordered the strawberry chicken avocado salad with a delicious cranberry dressing. The Pork Chili verde was delicious but quite salty. Way too much. Food was COLD and DISGUSTING!! I ordered the chicken enchiladas with cream sauce. The tortilla was obviously NOT fresh. The chicken was a "prefab" frozen, tasteless excuse. There were 5 people in the kitchen, and NO ONE was cooking anything!!! It took less than a minute from the time I ordered until the waiter brought my enchiladas to the table. He was a really nice guy but he disappeared right after he brought the food. I tried the first one, and it was flat-out cold, not even warm. The waiter wasn't around to complain to, so I thought I'd give the next one a try. It was ice cold, too. DISGUSTING!!! THE rice was cold, dried up, and hard as a rock! The beans were almost luke warm but obviously straight out of a can with ZERO FLAVOR!! CHECK OUT THE PICTURE. This is what was left over AFTER two of us tried to gag it down! My date's nachos were the same story. Luke warm, about 3 small table spoons of meat/bean mixture and very little melted cheese. We couldn't even finish the nachos they were so bad. How do you screw up nachos? How is this place still open. I'm not sure the health inspector would even let them stay open if they saw the food... Even after politely talking to the staff about it, they didn't offer to "remake" the food or even offer a discount of any kind. The only thing they said was "this is more of an american-mexican food." SERIOUSLY? That's your excuse??
