Original review:My favorite. Calm, not too sweet, refreshing and welcoming environment! Edit: Unfortunately they removed loose leaf teas from the menu (except the mango tea). Most staff refuse to customize drinks (except a select few people). I used to drink their rose green tea and their jasmine tea, and I was a regular (2-3 times a week sometimes more). Now I go significantly less frequently because I am not a big fan of milk teas most days.. Also most the staff seem slightly irritated if I try to ask for my old order (rose green tea with boba). I ordered that reliably for over two years with fantastic staff, since they made the changes the staff are less friendly, you have less options for flexibility and customizing your drink, and I enjoy the drink options less. Also a long time regular customer, I have significant challenged redeeming the points I am supposed to be getting each time I enter my phone number and buy a drink. It’s too bad because for the last two years this was one of my favorite places in Chicago (and I was a super regular customer) until they made those changes to staff and to the menu.

I've always loved Te'Amo, but I think tonight I've been made into a loyal customer. I ordered an oreo mochi donut, and the cashier let me know that the person just in front of me literally ordered the rest of the oreo mochi donuts to go. It was a bummer, but she offered me to get any other of their donuts, so I got a strawberry one. She also gave me a free slice of their oreo creme cake because she felt bad. It was honestly one of the nicest and most thoughtful gestures I've seen from a food establishment in months. Thank you so much, miss. You really made my night. 🥹
