As luck would have it, I was in the wrong city to catch the game - and wearing the wrong team's colors! I asked around looking for a sort of "active" bar to watch a hockey game in, and Teets didn't disappoint. The crowd on hand was almost exclusively hockey fans - naturally, Canes fans other than me. I watched the first period here and really enjoyed the lively crowd. Unfortunately, I was really looking for a spot with local beer and some grub and Teets had neither, so I moved along. If I'm ever in town again on a game night and don't find myself at the arena, I'll be at Teets again.

I've been going to Teets for the past few weeks, and despite all of the negative reviews, I've found this place an absolute delight! One of the bartenders, Paige, is wonderful and very welcoming. The whole atmosphere is very lovely and open, and there are tons of people to get to know without the threat of being "man handled" by one of the bouncers for "no reason" out of 10 I place this location an 11/10🙌

My friend came in here, was not told he was not allowed to bring in a water and the bouncer smacked the drink out of his hand and made him drop his wallet with all of his cards. Extremely unprofessional and rude, he could have either told him that outside water wasn't allowed. Will not be returning here and would advise others avoid if they don't want to be harassed

Went in with my friends as part of a rare “mom’s night out” because it’s supposed to be a fun “millennial bar”. It was not. Music was bad, bartenders weren’t overly nice, and most importantly they don’t disclose to you that they will charge your card $50 regardless of how much you spend. I got 2 beers and my card was charged $50. My tab was $12 and some change to meet the $10 minimum. And then I check my account this morning and it’s a $50 charge. I see they do this to others as well (per the reviews). Reached out to my friends that went with me, and they were all charged $50 too. Absolutely ridiculous! That should be the FIRST thing you tell people when ordering drinks. IF there is a sign that says it, you really think in a busy bar where people are drinking that they are gonna read that?? Y’all are a scam and stealing people’s money. Will be disputing with my bank. Shame on you!!!
