I was a vendor at this holiday market in 2022 and unfortunately, it was a very poor experience. The area is covered with homeless people that hang around the market and will harass you at your booth. I didn't even feel safe enough to leave my booth to use the restroom. Setting up was very disorganized and people had a hard time finding their booth spaces. Half way through the market, it started pouring rain. Vendors started moving their cars onto the street to pack up their things, which was extremely unsafe for customers walking around. I had to close my booth early due to these unsafe conditions. I wrote an email to the organizer who did nothing to compensate me for loosing half of my selling day. Very disappointing and I will not be back. Other vendors, be ware.

Terribly disappointed. Sunday's weather was perfect for a trip to Berkeley for their annual TAHSF. Hadn't been in a couple of years. Perhaps the pandemic had an effect on the vendor participation, but there were less than 100 vendors spread out in the four blocks with less than 10 which were actually handmade by the participating artist. Should be better juried. Lots of booths with the same merchandise from baskets to free trade jewelry. I knew that it was different when there weren't any tie-dye vendors. This used to be the place where I bought most of my Christmas presents, since I could talk with the artists about their art. Can't say I won't ever go back, but we won't be there for the near future. Fortunately it was not an entire loss as we went to Top Dog for lunch and took food home from Steve's BBQ.
