I really like going to the Buell and love the parking garage proximity. It is a lovely theater. There are some downsides.... -refreshment prices are outrageous and they want tips. -more bathrooms are needed for those seated house left. -some seats are not for tall people. We had row c recently and reveled in the leg room. -worst of all, we have been to some productions where the sound was not mixed properly. In row m for Some Like Int Hot, we had an extremely hard time with the words. When orchestra was playing lightly or not playing, we heard perfectly. Orchestra was too loud. We've had this before. Six comes to mind. We saw &Juliet up close (where you'd expect sound problems) and heard perfectly. Must say that the staff and volunteers are always lovely, unless you're a Congresswoman disrupting the play.
