I’m not going to lie but this was pretty lame…I’ve done the rugged maniac and this was disappointing!!masks were required on fb post lol no one at the location had it.🤣!! 2 water stations, no one was there to guide us where to go which got confusing in the beginning. We had to ask other contestants lol, $20 parking fee plus $5 bag station plus $5 packet fees for not arriving days before to get your pre packet pick up so be prepared for that lol. We were a last group and did see a broken obstacle station lol , honestly overall it was more cardio.

If I could I would give zero stars. Tampas race was unacceptable. We all doubt it was a full 5K distance, and the advertised 15+ obstacles? Not even close. MAYBE 9 were built, three being horse hurdles. What a waste of time and money. The only good part about the race was hanging out with my friends afterwards in the parking lot. What a pathetic excuse of an "obstacle" course race. Never do an OCR from a company that constantly has their race pricing as FREE. It's not a special, the people running the race "promo" are "special". Unbelievable.

First time mud enthusiast was the name of the team i created for the 9 AM wave. Although there were more People that signed up , there was no way of locating them. Next time I will take a sign with the team name. Ended up just being my friend and I only. I read some reviews describing the race as being non challenging but I say otherwise. The race is long and some obstacles are very tough. It was my first time doing a race like this. Key note once you get there they ask you to pay another fee. But the only form of pay I had was apple pay and they didn’t accept it but i still was able to run. They have lockers for you to lock up your things. Make sure to take the oldest pair of shoes you have and wear white so that you can really see all the mud on your fit! And above all keep in mind that you are there to have fun and the the only competition is truly you vs you! Next year the name of our group will be called second time mud enthusiasts. IF you are worried about going alone you won’t have too because I’ll be there!

Not challenging at all, at ALL. Location was a good setting, but their volunteer staff were a bunch of tattooed tweakers. It was odd. They were nice folks, but a little off...over a week later and still no pictures. No customer service, ignored emails, and false advertising of $20 races all the time that end up double or triple that at check out. Will not be attending this poop show again.
