So, I will tell you, as a Japanese American I was kind of leery about "Texas Sake," in general, and unfortunately my negative thoughts were correct, I am unsure if they use the wrong rice to make the Sake, or the water quality isn't good, but literally none of the sake they produce is any good, in fact, quite gross. I know that sounds dramatic, but I tried all of their sake, and didn't take more than a sip of each, they all have a bad taste and after taste. Not recommended, HOWEVER, the food was very delicious and when paired with imported sake, made the visit okay.

The vibes are great. The sake, not so much. I’d recommend only getting the imported Japanese sake, as every single sake of their house-made versions was not good. The staff is very nice, and it sounded like folks enjoy the handrolls they make here. It’s a great setting and fun atmosphere for a big group — not at all pretentious. But the sake has some work.

I've had plenty of saké, but none quite like this! They brew their own saké, in house, to perfection, as well as import some really fine saké. Tried their saké bomb which was a shot of their own saké dropped into a rice lager that they make (which is also incredible). Also tried two unique drinks that I doubt you could find anywhere else: a dairy free saké based eggnog and a rice beer Oktoberfest style. If you make it in time for these seasonal drinks, they are well worth the money! Cute space, welcoming staff. Big shout out to Pete for being a very informative, helpful, and kind bartender! He really made the whole experience 10x better.
