Three months ago, I showed up for a Body Burn class at Textured Dance Studio. I was greeted by the owner and main instructor, Damon. Damon’s welcoming presence and positive vibes were felt immediately. Things only got better as we began class which starts with a warm up followed by conditioning exercises then a choreographed routine for about 4 songs for cardio. This workout can be challenging but also SO MUCH FUN! Damon’s infectious energy paired with his choreography/dance skills blew me away. He promotes a judgement free zone where all fitness/dance levels are welcome. I became a member that same day and have been coming to class 4-5 times a week now. I have also tried yoga, contemporary and restorative mobility classes. I highly recommend all of those classes also! I absolutely love the workout and welcoming community I have found at Textured Dance Studio. Highly recommend this studio for anyone looking for a fun and effective workout with wonderful people!

A year ago I was taking a walk in the neighborhood and this dance studio caught my eye. So I decided to try out a dance package groupon here on a whim, and I'm so glad I did! I will admit I was a little nervous the first couple of classes, simply because I didn't know what to expect and I am by no means a "good" dancer. By that I mean I haven't taken any professional dance courses or training, I came here just as an alternative to gym workouts. I quickly realized I had nothing to be nervous about. The studio's owner and main instructor, Damon, promotes a judgment free environment where all experience levels are welcome! His joy, and positive, goofy energy is so infectious I found myself with a huge smile on my face, and a full heart. Afterwards I decided to keep coming back and bought a full monthly membership to the studio after my groupon expired. Over the past year I've taken bodyburn, restorative mobility, yoga and even tried out a contemporary class! I love all the different types of dance classes available here and the warm and welcoming community that never fails to brighten my day. I'm now a regular member and try to come to classes here 3 times a week as my regular fitness routine. I cannot recommend this studio enough, if you enjoy dancing and want to change up your fitness routine this is the perfect place to go! I also really like that for bodyburn we get a new dance routine every couple weeks 🥰 I like to show off what new moves I learn to my friends and family! 🤪💖
