My friends and I came here for dinner so we had everything family style, which was great because it kept the price low. For the most part, everything was decently good, and not amazingly spectacular, but there were items that stood out still. Some of my friends that lived in Sunnyvale were frequent visitors and mentioned how much they returned because they liked the food, and I could definitely see why. To me, the pad see ew and the red curry tasted very authentic and very similar to what I have had in other Thai restaurants across the country, which was a good thing and I definitely had nothing to complain. I thought the spicy fried rice was really good because it had a level of spice that provided flavor instead of overwhelmingly spicy and nothing else, if that makes sense. I also enjoyed the mango & sticky rice, but would love a bit more rice and coconut milk because there was a good amount of fresh mango. Otherwise, I don't have other comments because I don't know what else to say other than the fact that this is a very authentic small Thai restaurant and I think that by itself should be a good indicator that it's worth returning to.

They're currently operating at a popup location in Santa Clara while the Sunnyvale location is being remodeled. Food is just as delicious, with many vegan and vegetarian options. The new Green Curry Delight and Red Curry Delight are incredible, but Eggplant Delight is still the favorite with my family. -- Lunch specials are a great deal — 2 items for $12, 3 for $13, 4 for $16 plus choice of white/brown rice. You can even choose which item goes over the rice if you're picky about that. There may be a line, but orders come out quickly. Their physical distancing setup is well done: markers on the ground, only one customer allowed inside to order and pay, plexiglass around register, photos of menu items posted on the windows.

Thai Spoons holds a special place in my heart, and despite the lack of air conditioning in the summer... I would recommend this Thai spot for sure! They have lunch specials and a good variety on their menu. Staff are kind here too! Pad See Ew is always my go-to dish and this place makes it really well! Not too oily and perfectly cooked noodles. We got this with beef and it was really tender (good portions too)! The Pad Ped Chicken is also a solid dish that I've only ever seen here. Deep fried boneless chicken stir fried in mild Thai spices. Very tasty and a guilty pleasure dish.

Came here with a family of four on a weekday night! There was no line but still really busy. Food: We got the fried chicken and the eggplant curry and green curry and pad Thai! I definitely think the Star was the small fried chicken nuggets and the eggplant curry since they both had great textures and flavors and weren’t overwhelming or salty! We also got the mango sticky rice which was warm and fresh. Service: The best part! This place is family owned and the servers checked in a ton and were super sweet. Ambiance: A great place to take family and friends for some quality quieter vibes. Overall love the place and the options! I love supporting local businesses too.
