As a queer person of color, I have been hesitant to enter yoga spaces bc many of them have been co-opted by western fitness culture. This queer, south Asian owned studio however, provides not only a safe, welcoming space, but a community with whom I can practice where I feel held and seen. The studio itself is stunning and the classes are curated and taught in deeply grounded ways that always leave me excited to return. I love how people’s time and energy is respected and held sacred, for example, the doors are locked promptly at the beginning of classes as not to disrupt the students who arrived on time and are in their practice. I can’t recommend this studio enough.
