I absolutely love this venue, go everytime were in Denver. Their drink selection is unmatched by any other venue I've been to, they have numerous craft beers in draft, great specials, and tons of non alcoholic options like Capri sun and Yerba mate. The sound is incredible, but what else would you expect from a funktion one rig? They really support the hell out of the underground here. You really feel at home when you're there. It would literally be a dream for me to play here, so I'm putting it into the ether!

Normally I only get to experience sound, vibes, and acts that the black box provides when attending the scarce bass music events we get or going out of state to fests or Colorado / East coast. Every. Single. Time. I go to the Black Box I leave with new artists to check out, further appreciation for the culture, and a renewed sense of just how good music can sound and FEEL. If you like intimate vibes, the highest of quality in sound & the underground, then stop sleeping and come feel what it’s all about. IYKYK. Oh yeah they have a Photo Booth now too!

As others have said the sound of place is amazing. The scene they have is also great. Not to be a hater but a heads up to a open gender bathroom would've been nice. That was completely un expected. They do have male and female restrooms in the other club. They have 2 separate clubs. Also I don't think they have air conditioning.
