I had an opportunity to visit this wonderful church this past week and participate in an ongoing ESL class as an assistant ( helper) to the Teacher/ Instructor. What a warm and welcoming atmosphere within this community. The people I met were just very friendly and I enjoyed helping them learn English. I have signed up as a volunteer at first because It was important to do a community resource event for a college course I'm taking. A better reason after attending the classes, I had written a paper on what I felt should be the language during such a class just 2 weeks prior to me being asked to help out. I have to say what a turn around in my heart, my way of thinking about this method of learning and teaching. It is a great experience and I welcome anyone with 90 minutes a week to offer this significant cause to have a better society and a more diverse community as a whole working together to achieve a greater means to these families what a blessing to serve them. Just loved it.!

I love the field behind this place. It’s a great place to gather with family and friends and enjoy the outdoors. Removed from roads, it quiet and peaceful. I like placing Ultimate Frisbee here and having picnics. I also enjoy the congregation on Sundays. And it’s always nice to meet others on Wednesday evening for youth activities.

I cannot say enough good about this church. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has brought me closer to God, and has brought me great happiness and meaning in my life. I have three little children and it is not always easy to get up, get ready and go each week. However, EVERY single week I am grateful I went and when I return home I feel better, I am better-- more peace, more joy, more purpose in my life, more resolve to follow Christ, more love for my brothers and sisters on this earth, more guidance on how to raise my children in this world but not of this world, better equipped to strengthen my eternal marriage and family. There are also many opportunities each week to serve in the congregation and in the community that bless and enrich my life. Coming to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints each week feels to me like coming Home. It recharges my spirit and I recenter on the things that matter most-- the Lord and my family. I don't know where I would be or what I would do without Christ and His restored church. The feelings of peace and joy I feel from learning the eternal truths of Christ's gospel each week are priceless. I also do not know what I would do without my amazing congregation that is my family away from home. I invite all to come and see for yourself. Great blessings await you and your family.

Think this as the Building I saw all the Nativity’s at Christmas 25 years ago. Now so excited there will be a Temple in place of the Stake Center.
