Yes the food was atrociously bad. Think school lunch. Meat was dry and we also ended up with a bit of a belly ache the next day. But we didn’t come for the food!! The show was hilarious and interactive, we had such a good time. The QR clues were a but confusing but it makes sense to do it that way. My partner lost interest in the mystery as it felt more like doing homework.

What a unique show!! Had absolutely no idea what we were in for but it was a pleasant surprise! The Bar: Please note… the bar is CASH only!!!! I know it says on their website that card is taken but is NOT! ATM onsite is a hefty $5 fee. The bar is below average for Chicago and expensive in my opinion with an incredibly small selection. Dinner: The “Chefs appetizers” is quite literally a joke… we got a SINGLE meatball the size of a grape along with grape sized bread bites… salad was okay… chicken was average but nothing exceptional. The best part was the chocolate cake. For $80 a person… the food at medieval times is better.. The show itself is great! The actors are completely unscripted and truely combine unique clues from every audience. Worth a try but some things could to be better!
