Tonight my girlfriend went in to use the restroom so she can get a feel for it, because you can tell a lot about a place by the way they care for their restrooms, and they scanned my girlfriend's ID to make sure she could go here which that's makes sense you got to make sure people are the right age then while she was in there using the restroom sent people into check on her random bar CUSTOMERS were sent in by the bartender to check on my girlfriend and make sure she wasn't doing anything and then vocally very loudly said "I don't know what she's doing but I know she's up to something in there" so if a friendly bar with good atmosphere and good service is what you want, do not go to the Eagle eye tavern absolutely the worst experience in a bar I've ever been a part of or witnessed I'm disappointed and ashamed to call myself a portlander tonight. If this is what Portland has come down to then the beautiful rich culture that Portland is known for is long dead and I'll mourn it's passing. We decided not to stay as it became clear that hate discontent and intolerance is alive and well in this world And it's source is the Eagle eye tavern. I hope that the people that treated my girlfriend so bad tonight at the Eagle eye tavern experience the type of intolerance and hate that they dished out tonight. And I hope also that the owner of the Eagle I tavern looks real hard at the people they're hiring and does what's right in this scenario. I'm pretty sure it's a crime to send a patron in to spy on people's restroom habits particularly other patrons. And sadly this reviewer feels that the only option available might possibly be to file and litigation against this for the humiliation that my girlfriend suffered at the hands of the Eagle eye tavern as it's pretty clear that that all of their values were displayed tonight in the form of this one bartender and every customer that she convinced needed to go in and spy on my girlfriend in the restroom. That type of behavior is unacceptable and quite frankly borders on assault and sexual harassment it's a sad day in Portland Good night.

A solid bar with great happy hour drink prices. Never too loud, they're usually playing the bartenders Playlist from their phone. They do have an AMI Jukebox you can ask them to switch to if you want to change it up. The staff are all nice, and easy-going. The atmosphere is... chill. A few regulars that will get a little loud when hilariously discussing pretty much anything. Other than that, a small but often changing tap list, decent liquor selection, but Not a destination if looking for unique booze and mixers. This is a straight down the middle "working/workers bar". Oh, and Holly is the best!

What a blast. Loved this place. Pool tables were a wonderful distraction. The Karaoke was inevitable and thoroughly entertaining. Bartender-folk were super kind and well knowledged on their mixings and it was all at a reasonable price. I'm pretty amped for the next group get together at Ye Olde Eagle Eye.
