Bartenders are great, there was a retro B movie on screen, and the patio outside is nice. Guests don't know how to form a line. Be ready to advocate for yourself or grip the bar

this place is really close to my house,, so I will definitely be coming back!! Especially to try the food and maybe the new sandwich place called "knuckle sandwich"and I really love the style in this place and how they decorated it. The only thing I didn't like was at the bartender could obviously tell we had never been, didn't really like how she didn't give any like recommendations on what drinks to get. I just didn't know what to get,, but what we got was really good and cheap too!!

The Far Out Lounge has such a chill vibe and it’s definitely a staple spot in Austin. I recently checked out the Knuckle Sandwich pop-up and really enjoyed it. The sandwich was tasty, though there was a bit more seasoning on top than I personally prefer, but that’s just me. Still super flavorful and worth trying. I tried the roasted lamb sandwich which was slow cooked and was great. I also did try the knuckle salad as well and it was probably my favorite item on the menu. But what really stood out to me was how kind the staff was. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. It’s a great place to hang out with friends, kick back, and just enjoy the Austin atmosphere.

My son and I attended a concert at this venue this weekend. I had never been here before, but this place was fantastic. Everyone who worked here was friendly, there was lots of space for the event, the portable bathrooms were clean and easy to use and they had plenty available so you didn’t have to wait very long. We were able to be close to the stage, and enjoyed the show thoroughly because of the intimacy of the venue. They had two bars, and I never waited more than a few minutes for a drink. And, the drinks were very reasonable in price. I look forward to coming back here for more events in the future, and have saved it as one of my favorite places.

I helped set up for Ripple Fest everyone who worked there was so considerate. My first time in Austin and the Far Out coming from California. They let me put my insulin in the refrigerator behind the bar so that it didn't expire on 100° day. Everybody was so friendly. They have cool art there too and liquid light shows. Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to try their food but the menu looks delicious! It's a very nice spacious outdoor area. The outdoor bathrooms are really nice too! I just wish Ripple festival and Levitation was during the winter during cooler temperatures 😄
