I was there for the projection mapping, but it was unfortunately a bit disappointing. They don't use the building's texture, it's just projecting. Otherwise it's a nice building.

It’s beautiful it’s vast and it has so many events all the time including twice a year they have the one a couple of kind show where the whole floor has so many vendors who are artistic and design designers and clothing and candles and food samples. There’s art on the mat once a week at night it’s beautiful and it’s reflected on the river. There’s also a nice bar and restaurant called Marshall’s Landing inside and it’s really lovely.

Great place to walk around during a week day. Several food shops and a Starbucks. The outside of the Merchandise Mart is usually lit up at night and can be quite festive. Clean. Friendly.

One of a kind that offers artists with their one of a kind gifts: clothing, artwork , food, skincare, jewelry, home decor along with gifts for children and teens. On the first floor there are interior design stores you can visit. On the second floor is a great food hall. Also Metra entrance for Mart location.
