The theater itself looks very cool. Not sure if it was this one show but the sound actually improved when I put earplugs in. Before that it was a bit muddied, as though the sound was almost too much for the space. Security and staff are really not great. A bit overzealous is an understatement. One playing with handcuffs in front of the venue, around patrons. Wholly unprofessional. Also, $7.00 for a bottle of water? Absurd. This venue could be so much better if it was managed by someone competent. If someone with a brain does run this place, they certainly were not present during the show we attended.

Hello. I’d like a response from someone in management or leadership. I had an event to show up to today, it was a friends birthday and they were expecting me to arrive. I show up and they tell me I won’t be let in because I have no shoes or pants on. What does that even mean? Are they trying to tell me I showed up in underwear and barefoot? I have shoes on that help correct my ankle pronation, and i obviously had pants on? So what was the problem? I asked to speak to someone in charge and everyone on duty at 9:20 PM 8/24/25 , 3 security guards in total, looked away and ignored me, disregarding me entirely. They start talking about my attitude and how it’s a problem. As if I wouldn’t have a problem with them telling me I have no pants on. What is that even supposed to mean? I showed up willing to give money to this establishment, and they turned me away without explanation. Keep in mind, you keep your dress code out front and I was in no way breaking that dress code.

Nice sized music venue with nice Mayan / tribal decorations. I wouldn’t describe it as a “night club” definitely more of a theater. Sound was good. Management here sucks, as evident by the fact that there is no water fill stations and a little bottle of Costco water is $7. Total cash grab, and unethical. Drinks are super pricey. Despite the fact that the show was 21+, for some reason drinks were not allowed on the floor (either have to drink in the very back of the venue or up top on the balcony), something we learned after buying our drinks. Bathroom was small and cramped, so always had a long line, and looked like just one bathroom for the whole venue, with 3 barrier-less urinals. Huge improvement would be to add a water fill station on both floors (can even offer the crappy paper cone cups, people would still buy the water bottles), and let people drink on the floor for 21+ shows.

The Mayan is always a fun evening. The main big floor has Spanish disco music with at least 200 hundred dancers doing their thing. There is some seating near the dance floor but not much. If you just want to sit and watch, there is a lot of seating one floor above which overlooks the dance floor. This used to be a former movie theater, therefore it looks like over a thousand people fit in the club. Dress code is enforced, so read about that before you show up. Entrance fee for you and a date plus a mixed drink can add up. So be prepared. The drinks are quite strong, so if you are driving, be aware of that. But what makes the evening rather expensive is the parking!! Best to show up in a group and split the cost or even consider a taxi. Walking quite a ways from the club, the parking gets cheaper. The music is quite loud, although it appears the owners have invested in a better sound system as it is no longer ear splitting. There are 3 floors. So if you enjoy dancing Salsa, one of the floors offers that too. Just be prepared to stand most of the evening in high heels (for you girls). The crowd is quite young but older people can have a good time there too and are accepted by the crowd. Everyone is very friendly although the club is not very integrated. Most are Latino. The lighting is on the dark side except on the stages of course. Many weekends there is live music. Some bands are quite famous in Latin music circles. During those evenings, the entrance fee is adjusted accordingly. Overall, I highly recommend going to this club! Friday and Saturdays are the big nights. Who knows, you may really like it!

I love this place. It's a great place to go dance and it doesn't get insanely packed. There are people from all age groups, just having a good time and dancing. There is a coverage of $20 or $25 dollars.
