We just got a face wax and nails done here and are super happy! We had a French manicure and nails art. Nina did my nail art and I am super happy with it - I wanted spring bees and ladybugs and flowers - I really like the design. Would be happy to use her again! There is something there for all ages!! I have the old lady hands, but look at how pretty the design is! I don’t do my nails often, so I call these my vacation nails!

I had a AMAZING experience with NewMe Nails. I got my gel x set done and Daniel blew my expectation away. The atmosphere is really relaxing as well. One of the best nails salon in San Diego area will definitely come back and bring my friends next time!

I came in for a dip powder manicure, and right away I was concerned when the technician tried to use a UV light—something that is not required for dip nails. I had to stop her, as I’m especially cautious due to a family history of skin cancer. Shortly after leaving the salon, the top coat began peeling, and within two hours, my nails were cracking. I returned the same day, only to be told they couldn’t fit me in and wouldn’t issue a refund. They scheduled me for a redo three days later. When I arrived for the appointment, I was on time at 5:14 for a 5:15 appt, but I wasn’t seated until 5:45. They even sat people down while I was waiting, even though they assured me I was next. During the wait and even while getting my nails fixed, I felt extremely uncomfortable—staff were openly talking about me, which was humiliating. Despite promising to redo the full set, the technician simply removed the peeling top coat and applied a new one. To make matters worse, she was so rough with the nail file that she cut my skin, causing me to bleed. This was by far the worst salon experience I’ve had. Poor technique, terrible customer service, and absolutely no regard for client comfort or safety. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Got my birthday manicure done with Taco, and she’s so talented AND sweet. She made sure that I really loved my gelx nails before I left and I appreciate it because I’m still getting used to speaking up when I get my nails done. Ann did my birthday pedicure and what a gentle person! I did the bigger pedicure package (forgot the name but ~$78) which included the hot stones and the paraffin wax. I’ve done these services at other salons and have gotten a bit burned before BUT Ann was careful to check the temperatures before applying it. Also, I have nail psoriasis and Taco & Ann NEVER made me feel bad and embarrassed (I know that’s also because I do the work to not feel that way either but still). They were both so gentle handling my nails. Ann even had tips to help me care of my nails. Excited to book more appointments with them ❤️

Kevin did an amazing job. He was gentle on my nails when he removed my gel. I really appreciate how he took care of my nails’ health. He shaped and painted my new color beautifully. Will be coming back! Emily also gave me a great pedicure. ☺️ lovely service.
