I came to Pharmacy Bar on a whim, and man, this plate of chili fries was a full-blown experience. We’re talking house-made chili, creamy cheese, fresh green onions, and a cold slap of sour cream on top. I asked for a side of spicy aioli and drizzled it on like it was sacred oil—and it took this dish over the top. This isn’t bar food… this is comfort food engineering at its finest. First photo is the beast in all its glory. Second photo is the aftermath—absolutely obliterated. Not a trace left. That should tell you everything you need to know. Downtown Portland gem. This is my favorite local bar for great drinks and service. It can get busy at times, and I understand why, it’s all around amazing. I haven’t had any menu item I didn’t like and the bartenders/service staff rock it. I recommend this place to everyone.
