Five Points is my home studio, but each of these locations is wonderful. The studios are very clean, beautiful, and relaxing. The instructors are friendly and make you feel so welcomed. Each class has its own style based on the instructor, so it's nice to get a great variety not just in class type but how it's executed. The studios are also well-balanced from a spiritual perspective; the subtle messages/themes brought to class are suitable for anyone. It's also very well priced, especially considering there are 3 locations to always choose from. I'm looking forward to sticking with The River for a while :)

This is truly a special place. I turned to yoga after a traumatic loss in my life, and the instructors here have paved the way for me to start a new journey of healing, strength, and self growth. Each teacher brings something unique to class, and I always feel valued and safe. The River’s membership is very reasonably priced and there are so many great perks- especially the free mat rental and no cancellation fees. If you’re looking for a space to grow and thrive in community, The River is for you.

I love the River Yoga! I was so intimidated to step into a yoga studio for the first time, thinking it couldn't possibly be a place for people "like me," but it might be the most welcoming place I've ever been. The space is just beautiful, but the best part of the River is the teachers. Each one has their own style and genuinely cares about their students, so whatever you're looking for you can find it here. Creating a community of individuals from different walks of life is no easy task, but the nurturing souls at the River have made it happen.

I stumbled into The River a few months ago at the Five Points location after straining my ankle hiking the collegiates. After dropping into my first hot yoga class with Makayla, I decided to sign up as a full-time member immediately. I went in thinking my experience at The River would be about balance, flexibility and core strength, but I got so much more out of it. My golf swing became more controlled, my basketball shot improved, my dance moves were more fluid, and I was able to build resilience to injury better than ever at 36 years old. The River is not just a yoga studio, it's a community. The last year for me has been plagued with loss and grief, and The River was my rock that kept me in a good mental space to get through these tough times. The breathwork, meditation, and community events have been amazing, and all the teachers are extremely motivating with their unique teaching styles and personalities. I never thought yoga would be a practice I'd fit into, but The River has welcomed me with open arms. I highly recommend The River to anyone looking for a new studio or interested in trying yoga for the first time :) Thank you to all the teachers that have worked with me and helped me with my yoga practice along the way: Danielle B, Mallory, Kendall A, Mona, Vanessa, Steph, Aimee, Makayla, Precious, Charlie, Lisa H, Mona, Shae, Talon, Karina, Carolyn, Meghann, Rachel W, Lisa P, Krystal, Donna, and so many more I look forward to working with in the future!

I am OBSESSED with The River Yoga. I’ve been practicing here for about 1.5 years and I love the warm, welcoming, community feel of each studio. The instructors are knowledgeable, friendly, and you can tell that they genuinely love being a part of The River. The Five Points studio offers kids yoga with Krystal on Saturday mornings, and ever since my daughter was able to attend at 4 years old, we try to go every week! Now my daughter wakes up in the morning each day and asks, “is it a yoga day?” because she loves it so much. It’s the perfect way for me to get a class in while my daughter learns the skills of mindfulness and awareness at such a young age. What if we all would have had yoga at 4?! Do yourself a favor and get your mat to The River!
