The staff are friendly and we had a good time despite issues with the launch of the new menu. I was surprised that the new menu does not feature any Rose flavored drinks. The Lemonade Palmer mocktail was delicious and I was glad to hear they are keeping it on the new menu. Unfortunately we visited on a day the kitchen was inoperative, but we appreciate the gift from the bar!

As a local guide with many years experience reviewing restaurants I urge you NOT TO patronize this OVERPRICED bar in downtown Phoenix. First of all I was left standing outside the bar in the hot Phoenix weather as it is not clear how you enter the bar. No one helped me or tried to direct me into the bar after it had opened. Me and my friend separately tried to sit down at a table as opposed to the bar. We were both dressed formally and appropriately. They told both of us SEPARATELY that tables were reserved. Unfortunately this proved to be a lie as no one came to any of the tables we tried to sit at and they had no reserved signs on them. The bar must have some racial prejudice against us. I was also told and double checked with an employee that drinks were two for the price of one as part of “Happy Hour” on Saturdays. There is a sign displayed in the pictures I added to my review that shows Happy Hour is on Mondays and Fridays but the staff member told me it was on Saturdays too. This employee lied to me, and then denied that she had lied. I managed to get one of my drinks taken off my bill as a courtesy, but of course this wasn’t without a fuss from the staff member. As a response to my Google review they have alleged confusion on our part. This bar is digusting and should be shut down for lying to and discriminating against customers. I would definitely recommend checking out Quartz which has a much more inclusive vibe.

If you’re looking for the perfect night out, look no further than the Rose Garden Cocktail Lounge—and make sure Haneen is your server! She’s not just amazing at what she does; she is the experience. From the moment we arrived, the lounge’s romantic, floral atmosphere set the tone—soft lighting, cozy seating, and elegant details everywhere. But the real magic started when Haneen greeted us with the warmest smile. She’s effortlessly charming, attentive without hovering, and has an intuitive sense for timing. It felt like she could read the table’s vibe perfectly. She guided us through the cocktail menu with genuine excitement and nailed every recommendation. Her passion for the craft and the customer experience shows in every detail. We also ordered the cannoli, and WOW— absolutely delicious. Haneen hyped them up, and she was so right. Creamy, delicate, and the perfect sweet finish. Haneen is a true gem. She turned a simple night out into something special. If you’re lucky enough to have her as your server, you’re in for a treat. Rose Garden, you’ve got a star on your hands!

**The Rose Garden - Downtown Phoenix** The Rose Garden delivers a delightful evening that strikes the perfect balance between intimate ambiance and culinary satisfaction. Their hummus is expertly prepared - creamy, well-seasoned, and served with fresh accompaniments that elevate this seemingly simple dish into something memorable. The cocktail program deserves particular praise. The espresso martini stands out as a masterclass in execution, with perfectly balanced coffee notes and a silky foam that lingers just right. The bartending team clearly understands their craft, and the mixed drinks we sampled showcased both technique and creativity. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the atmosphere strikes that sweet spot perfect for date nights or catching up with friends. The Rose Garden proves that Downtown Phoenix’s dining scene continues to flourish with establishments that prioritize both quality and experience. A solid choice for anyone seeking well-crafted cocktails and thoughtful small plates in the heart of the city.

The ambiance here is serene and really does feel like a garden party. I enjoy both the indoor and outdoor bar when the weather is nice. The drinks are pleasant, if pricey. The same can be said for the food- pricey and small portions but good quality. The biggest drawback is the high turnover of bartenders. It seems like the staff has been generally disgruntled with management since they opened. I don't think I've ever had the same bartender twice. If they reduce their prices to make them more reasonable and treat their staff well, this could easily be a 5 star cocktail bar. If you do go- I'd recommend the ricotta dip and Voyage of Pemrose cocktail. Be aware- they don't offer food in the summer. Pretty crazy, right? I'd appreciate if they had their full menu year round. No other cocktail bar downtown reduces the menu for the summer. 🍸
