Many users appreciate the mall's beautiful open-air design and the variety of entertainment choices, such as the IMAX theater, bowling alley, and a large arcade with over 165 games, which make it especially appealing for families looking for activities beyond shopping. Positive reviews highlight the presence of well-known chain stores like Forever 21, Gap, Banana Republic, and Victoria's Secret, alongside some unique shops and a creative candy store. This garden is easily in my top three in all of Florida! We stopped by on a whim and were not disappointed. The tropical plants here are some of the largest I’ve seen in any Florida garden! While the greenhouse could use a little TLC, it was still beautiful and worth a visit. The butterfly garden was impressively large, and the rainforest garden—with its misting system—was a real treat on a hot day (just watch your step, the walkway can be slippery!). This area was my favorite! There’s plenty of shaded paths throughout, though the areas around the lakes are more exposed. We saw tons of iguanas and other lizards, but they scattered as we approached. They also had large insect-themed art installations (I think the exhibit was called “Bug Life” or something similar), which kids would love. A trolley even takes you around to see them if you don’t want to walk. We didn’t get to explore the full lake area due to the heat and mosquitoes, but we’ll definitely be coming back!

A neat place for those who have the ability to walk and climb stairs. It has so much potential to be amazing, but half the shops are empty, the elevators don't work, and half of the escalators don't work. On the other side of that, the architecture is great and, like I said, has so much more potential.

It’s too bad that all the former stores and anchors left the mall with a few stores still standing such as Tea & Poets, GameTime, AMC Theater, LA Fitness, and Barnes and Noble Bookstore. It’s probably one of the last good stores to have all kinds of colors and murals on their outdoor and indoor parking garage walls. I love how the mall today evokes a sense of nostalgia and liminal spaces. I visit sometime to see what’s left for this mall at South Miami.

The Bakery Center, AKA Sunset Place a ghost village with haunting memories of what once was Holsum Breads Bakery & distribution center. Decades of unsolved “accidents” this place is truly haunted. Today this is were businesses come here to die. Only one has survived this center's gruesome reality.

What's eerie about this mall is that it remains active when most of its stores are empty. A gaming restaurant, a gym, a music classes store, a few offices where stores once were.... It would be nice to see such a nice location revamped by management and not fall into disrepair....
