Our time at Mutts Canine Cantina was great but our dog’s was even better. We always look for opportunities in the Austin area to socialize our dog and have fun as owners and Mutts presents the best combination of the two we’ve seen so far. Parking at Mutts was pretty smooth but it does look like it could be difficult on days or times where many owners decide to stop by. When entering there are a lot of security precautions in place ensuring that it would be VERY difficult for dogs to escape which is much appreciated. To get into the dog park itself you need to purchase a day pass which runs $14, there are other options like weekly, monthly, or even membership passes but as first timers we didn’t want to commit too hard just yet. Ordering is pretty straightforward and the food options are simple, burgers and tenders and fries. They do also have a dog menu but it is very lacking for being a dog focused place, just two options for dogs and both involve peanut butter so in the case your dog is strange and doesn’t like peanut butter then you’re out of luck. There’s a good amount of seating on the patio for food and the interior of the dog park also has a lot of seating and things for dogs as well like rocks, baths, and water bowls. They have a big screen out in the yard too so if you’re into sports and would like to bring your dog somewhere to watch then this is a great option. Beware that you SHOULD NOT bring food into the yard, they don’t explicitly say it but just know that is not a good idea. Overall, Mutts is an awesome place to bring a dog and just hang out and have them (or you) socialize. Consider stopping by with your dog when you have a chance!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Started going here a bit over two months ago and loved it so much that we got the membership there. Everyone who goes there is so friendly and welcoming, and so are the workers/park rangers. The place is huge and has a ton of places for doggies to enjoy.

Food is standard fare, but the dog playground is fantastic! Lots of wide open space for running and playing fetch/ catch, with a shaded splash pad and dunking pools. On super hot days, there are doggie ice pools too. Lots of shade and misters for humans. Amazing big screen for games etc and smaller TVs stashed around. Full bar, but kid friendly vibe throughout. Worth the day pass if you don't spring for a membership. Sometimes there is live music on the big stage.

This place is highly recommended. Yes, like other places, it will not always be perfect 100 % every time. So far, I enjoy the atmosphere, food, and new friends I am making. The MOST important thing, though, is that my Ryder boy, our rescue, who had a really hard start, his first 5 years of his life now looks forward to coming here all the time. He knows when we are headed to mutts because he remembers certain streets. Overall, this place is doggy 🐕 heaven because he remembers certain doggies and is making new friends every time with other pups and humans. Remember, these beautiful babies don't have long lives like us, so people who are saying $300 or whatever yearly membership is a lot, they do have daily passes instead. If you can go out to eat or have any type of membership anywhere, your / our babies deserve the same, if not more. Also, I have no relation to owners or anyone connected to Mutts. My baby just absolutely loves this place, so I had to post for Ryder! RYDER says woof and he will catch you at Mutts, so you better say hi and give me pets! ❤️💯🐕🐕
