The best meal in Salem we had! We came back here after we stumbled upon the neat old and historic restaurant inside The Hawthorne hotel. We figured it looked nice let's try it out. Everything we had was perfection! I've been touring all the pretzels every restaurant I go to this year and they had some of the best. The Chicken marsala was so flavorful and tender. The asparagus could not have been better prepared. They have an impressive cooking team because it was all wonderful! Definitely a place we'll revisit!

Seriously one of the best burgers I have ever had! The way the flavors of the Bacon bree burger played off each other was to die for! The Sweet potato fries though... I must warn you... They will ruin any others you've ever had or will have! They were so wonderfully crispy on the outside while remaining fluffy on the inside. I simply couldn't get enough. Will be eating here EVERYTIME I'm in town! Service was above average with friendly staff too!

Me and my mom were staying at the hotel, and we knew we had to eat in here at least once. Seems like a place locals enjoy, and we can see why! We tried a handful of things, the seafood chowder was excellent! Service was very nice too, I don’t remember his name but our server was tall and wore glasses-he was lovely! We also came back twice for nightcaps and Allison was awesome, and so kind. I love a cozy wood bar, and this one is just as charming as the hotel that houses it.
