My rating is more like 3.5, bordering on 4. It's a great venue, intimate, personal, friendly, fun, and unique. I've performed here a few times, helped others with their performances, and just sat to enjoy performing artists. Typically, sound is decent but can vary with whoever is volunteering to manage that department. Minimal effort on visuals and lighting, unless the artist brings their own, and that can vary wildly from professional to amateur. Overall, it is a great place to see small acts play, enjoy local artists, and hang out with friends. No bar, but they often sell cold beverages at the check-in counter.

Since I’m a cheap-o and a penny-pincher nowadays, I need you more than ever in my life for some budget friendly rock shows. I just bought “the format” tickets for the state fair and won’t ever recover, financially. And it really makes me yearn for a simpler time, cheap shows at the trunk space watching the likes of emperor x, and Karl blau, etc, etc, I welcome your permanent return. Hurry.
