Attended the Edgar Allen Poe Speakeasy event from Fever at the Theater Raleigh Arts Center. A really great event. Loved the interpretations of poems by the talented performers. No bad seats in the theater. The back seats are elevated and they stagger towards the stage like stadium bleachers. Small tables spread about. Easy to hear and see the stage. The drinks served during the performance were yummy! This was my second time attending such an event. I also went to Fevers Haunted Tavern. They are fun and I will be watching for their next event.

My husband and I attended the Edgar Allen Poe Speakeasy event. The parking is all around the building. To avoid foot traffic at the front doors and for easy exit turn immediately left upon entering the lot and park on the side of the building. There were photo opportunities inside. One criticism would be that the women's restroom really needed some attention. All of the staff were dressed for the event. They even used Poe styles conversation as they answered your questions. The drinks were pretty good. I liked the Nevermore the best. The waiters that served you're drinks also were the performers. The interpretive decorations were great. Overall we really enjoyed the experience!
