This is a great park for the kids and family. I noticed they have grills in the park. Two baseball fields. Handball courts a skate park track n work out space. We stumbled into and Easter egg hunt that day.

This is my neighborhood park. I visited the day after Independence Day. The park was cleaned and ready for the summer barbecues. 😊The pool is open. The children's park was filled with kids. There used to be portable toilets, but now they have a small cubicle-like bathroom by the children's park. 🤗🤗 Unfortunately, the bathroom was locked, and unless you are swimming the bathrooms cannot be used. Needless to say, there were a lot of people in need of a restroom. The pool staff didn't have access to a key to open it if it got locked. In this case. I would have preferred utilizing the portable potty that used to be there. 🤨

My daily walks on the track are good. Friendly atmosphere. A few left over trash from people's barbecuing and homeless men sleeping on the benches. But the park is kept up. I enjoy the scenery and the environment, so much better than living in the South dirtiest Bronx.

The park is wonderful. It is spacious and has tons of shade to relax, read, or play. Now, 2025, it had a permanent bathroom which is ventilated, spacious, accessible, and neutral. Thank you NYC Parks and staff for the excellent progress and quality of the park. It truly makes a difference.
