Whatever company builds these cookie cutter prefab cement parks needs to use better coping. The aluminum junk they use is always super sticky. The park is right next to a busy, loud road and there’s no shade. The transition in the mini ramp is too mellow and it’s hard to maintain speed through the skatepark. Not a pleasant skateboarding experience.

Memorial BBQ for my mom's 90 birthday. She passed in 2018. It was good to some family & friends in remembrance of her life & legacy. Park was full with people celebrating every event from birthday to baby shower and something in between. Towards end...a party a few feet from us did a fireworks display which was the perfect ending to beautiful day.

This is the skate park everyone wishes was in their neighborhood. Nothing too big, metal edges on everything. Mini ramp always makes things better. I think this was the first NYC skatepark to experiment with the idea of having the mini ramp be somewhat in the park and not by itself...the low curb on the western deck of the mini ramp is awesome. Would love to see that in more parks. More experienced skaters will have fun here 8 days a week, while a beginner can come to this park and leave feeling like they accomplished something. Lots of smooth pavement on the outside of the park if flat ground is your thing. I was here once in the summer and parking can be difficult. In the winter it was no problem at all.
