Unfortunately, due to work travel, Spring Break caught up with us. We asked for recommendations from parents whose kids attend the same school as our son, and they highly recommended this place for Spring Break, which was set to start today, March 31st at 8:00 AM. We even received the pricing details last night and were ready to enroll and pay for the full week. We arrived at 7:30 AM this Monday hoping to speak with someone before it started. At 7:55 AM, some staff finally showed up. We immediately explained that our son was not yet enrolled but that we wanted to know the process and see if he could join — especially since his classmates were already enrolled. Frank told us to wait until he was done with his check-in process. Once all the kids had gone in and it was already 8:20 AM, he then tells us that we couldn’t enroll because "this isn’t a daycare" and that he needed to know us beforehand. I have to ask — why couldn’t he have told us that 25 minutes earlier instead of letting us wait there? We were parents with an 8-year-old child, standing right there, ready to pay up front for the entire week. What exactly did he mean when he said that, for safety, he needed to know if we were “safe people”? That felt completely out of line. We fully understand the importance of safety protocols — but the way it was handled was unprofessional and disrespectful to a potential client. If there was no availability, he could have told us right away instead of wasting our time. This was a clear lack of service, and because of Frank’s attitude, I absolutely do not recommend this place.

We have always heard wonderful things about 3T. My 7 year old son asked us to send him to 3T. We were always not how many days to send him with our ever changing schedule so we went back and forth with deciding for over a year, but this year our son said he needed a structured and focused setting. He was determined to get into 3T so I had to listen to his wishes. In the past we have attended the Lion Dance events to cheer on our friends in 3T and have always been thoroughly impressed with the performances, staff & student engagement. My son dreaded going to the previous after school program so on days I had to work, I was always trying to pick him up early, but when my son joined 3T, he was very motivated to go to school and was excited for 3T after school. He was motivated and a completely different boy. He told me not to pick him early. After a week, he started begging me to send him 5 days a week. He said he loved the teachers, he said during homework time it is quiet and he can focus better, and he said the kids there are kind to each other. I was very touched when my son made friends with older and younger students. I was especially impressed that the older kids involve the younger students in activities. This respectful culture they nurture is very reassuring. My son felt like he can belong without so many discipline issues happening around him because the program fosters respect and discipline. My son comes home talking about hip hop and how he is very excited about participating in the Lion dance. My son who was not motivated to go to after school programs, was so inspired. And this makes the parents feel they can focus on their work and grateful their child can be learning in a safe and positive environment. 3T developed a student ASB program and my son wanted to write up his own speech. Seeing this kind of positive impact on my miracle child especially during a year when I had to transition back into work and full-time school has been life-saving. Thank you 3T and keep shining!

We love Three Treasures! My daughter goes to the after school program and had attended multiple of their camps. The best part of 3T is that they have amazing curriculum that you don't usually find at other camps or after school care. My daughter has been exposed to chess, lion dance, Polynesian dance, basketball, ukulele and badminton! In addition, the stuff and teachers are all amazing and truly care for the students. I would highly recommend giving 3T a try if you are looking for a camp or if you are lucky enough to have 3T for your after school care program!

This review for Three Treasures Cultural and Arts is LONG overdue. When my older daughter was in second grade (2019), she was in LOT after school program. It was really a “daycare” and she came home with homework that we had to work on after dinner. I was frustrated and exhausted after 10 hrs workdays to find that I still had to help her with homework. That was when I decided to contact Three Treasures, which was more expensive, but I was juggling between work and a two year old toddler, so i was at the end of my ropes. I met Kat in person (pre-covid) explained to her my situation. I communicated my expectations and we were aligned. Fast forward to 2024, my older is now in 7th grade and my younger is a 1st grader - both are still with Three Treasures, thriving in school and extracurricular activities (eg hula, hip hop, lion dancing, basketball, badminton). They have such a well rounded program and kids have so much exposure to cultural and arts, not to mention a fantastic summer camp with different tracks (academics, sports, arts, cooking, etc). This is the BEST investment for your kids. I don’t know what I would have done with my toddler during covid if Three Treasures wasn’t there. They allowed me to work knowing that my girls were learning in a safe space.
