Clean and fun. Parking lot is at the opposite end and there is street parking. Pay for your ticket and then grab a spot to hang out. Lots of “saved” chairs with no one ever sitting on them. Lots of shaded areas. Lifeguards were good at enforcing rules.

Stopped at, but didn't necessarily visit at the park for the first time today on a ride up and down Skillman Street which runs a long, long way across greater Northern Dallas. A near quiet, quaint community park with lots of green space and what looks to be a basketball court and tennis court that are well maintained. Plenty of playground equipment for the kiddos to enjoy and picnic tables for the family. Walking and jogging paths throughout the park. Nice large trees and plenty of green space to run through and enjoy as well. Maybe I'll see y'all there?! 🙏💜🤠

Nice park. I really liked how it had a lot of shade available for me and my son to stop and have lunch. No shade at the playground area. We didn't play over there because it was too hot which means the metal was hot too. My son was happy to find this amazing looking tree. He played on that tree for a good 30 mins. I took some photos but you can't see how cool this tree look in the picture.

Tietz Park is such a gem for families! We’ve been coming here for years and love how much it offers for kids and adults alike. The covered playground is a lifesaver on sunny days, and in the summer the aquatic center is the perfect place to cool off. There’s also a baseball field that’s always buzzing with games and, more recently, a brand new sand volleyball court that’s been a fun addition. What makes this park even better is the convenience — it’s close by, has plenty of shade, and includes a nice walking path that’s perfect for a stroll while the kids play.
