Here's what people think of Tiny's Hi-Dive
As of recent, Tiny's Hi-Dive holds a 4.7-star rating based on 217 reviews.
Reviews from visitors highlight Tiny's Hi-Dive as a standout new addition to Los Angeles' bar scene, lauded for its authentic dive bar atmosphere combined with high-quality food and drink offerings. Positive reviewers praise the bar's welcoming and personal service, noting bartenders who remember customers and a menu that features standout Chicago-style bar snacks like Italian beef sandwiches and delicious hot dogs. The ambiance, including vintage arcade games, a jukebox, and a pool table, makes it an engaging spot for groups and friends to gather. Many appreciate the reasonable prices, daily happy hours, and the late closing time, which is somewhat rare for the area. On the other hand, some negative remarks mention that Tiny's lacks some of the gritty charm often associated with traditional dive bars, as it is cleaner and more polished than typical dives, which might not appeal to purists seeking a rougher experience. A few patrons note the "first-come, first-serve" seating policy could lead to waits during busy times, and the lack of acceptance of Apple Pay may be inconvenient to some. Overall, the consensus is that Tiny's successfully revitalizes the dive bar concept with a modern, friendly, and enjoyable approach that resonates well with the local community and newcomers alike.

My husband and I had the pleasure of stumbling upon Tiny’s and absolutely loved it! The vibe is friendly and laid-back with fun games, amazing drinks, and the warmest staff, aka Susie, who made us feel right at home. My husband and I had a great time hanging out with the locals and even made some new friends. The hot dogs are hands down the best in LA, and they even offer vegan options for those who don’t eat meat. As out-of-towners, my husband and I were blown away by how welcoming everyone was, it truly felt like family. Don’t leave without snapping a photo in their retro photo booth, getting your fortune from Zoltar, or enjoying a game of Golden Tee or shuffleboard. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

Fun Place for All, including us from Minnesota, glad we found it while visiting LA. Bartender, Cristina M., Rocks! Love the Fish Tacos, Coleslaw was delicious and the wings weren't bad either, maybe fried a bit harder would be even better.

This spot really feels like a home away from home for Chicago natives. We go for the food and yes, for the Malört, because some traditions just can’t be broken, no matter how questionable they taste. The Chicago hot dog is a must, the buffalo wings are solid and the corndog hits the spot (I’m a big fan of the vegan version). It gets packed during any Chicago sports games, on weekends and sometimes just… because. Lately it seems like business is picking up which is great to see. That said, I do wish they had a QR code ordering system at the tables. It would make things smoother for everyone and probably boost their sales too. Just trying to help us all get our hot dogs faster.

I got the chicken strips, which were not great. Not bad. Just your average frozen chicken strips. But I’m sure the other food items are good. They had sandwiches and hot dogs and the pricing was fantastic for everything. Definitely a neat spot to sneak away too if you need to drink somewhere that isn’t your room. Haha

I’ve been wanting to come to Tiny’s for so long and I finally got the chance while I was visiting Los Angeles. It was so nice, we did it twice. The first visit was right after the Bear’s game. The energy was awesome!!! I got their famous Irish coffee, and it lived up to the hype. The bartenders and all the staff were so genuinely nice and made sure we felt taken care of, even though the place was busy. Even the customers are friendly, and everyone is just there to have fun. Our second visit was during Rock Live Karaoke night. I’ve been to a LOT of karaoke nights, and this was such a unique experience. Most karaoke places feel a little bit sad, but this was full party, high energy, fun vibes. Having a live band changes the entire experience. Tiny’s also has a great happy hour from 2pm – 8pm!!! The prices are unbeatable, and you’ll never miss happy hour again ... because they give you 6 HOURS. Everyday. I love the whole vibe of Tiny’s. The lighting, the artwork, the interior design. There’s a jukebox, pool, basketball, pinball, claw machine ... who doesn’t love a bar with games and entertainment!? I’m jealous of all the people who live nearby. I can’t wait to come back.
