This beach park offers a tranquil sandy waterfront perfect for swimming, relaxing, or socializing, complemented by an adjacent green park area with shady spots ideal for picnics and enjoying the scenic views of Lake Michigan. A signature feature is the 'Windform' sculpture, a 100-foot abstract concrete piece by Lynn Takata, designed to reflect water movement and serving as a delightful play structure for children while also offering places to sit and take in the lakefront vista. Lifeguards are on duty daily from 11 am to 7 pm during swimming season, ensuring a safe environment for visitors. Incredibly thankful for this space 💚 lots of off leash dogs, especially on weekends and during the warm months, so be aware if you have animal anxiety or a reactive dog.

This beach was very clean and seemed like a very friendly atmosphere. I would recommend anyone near loyal to come and check this beach out. Beware parking is a nightmare. However, it's impossible to find parking. There are lifeguards on duty so I would say it's a kid friendly place.

A beautiful, neighborhood beach park with a great vibe. Just regular neighbors hanging out on the "Artists Wall", folks walking/running with their dogs, students from nearby Loyola and Northwestern partying and sunning alongside families with happy kiddos playing in the sand and surf. Never too crowded and way more laid back than the beach scenes to the south of Rogers Park.
