They have a sign that says 5.00 for all 19.2 ounce beers to go. I asked for a 19.2 ounce sip of sunshine to go. Bartender confirmed it was to go and then he rang me up. I got charged 12.50 lmao. Won’t return. False advertising is weird and shitty. Do better.

Stopped by to have a beer with my wife. We just moved to the neighborhood and was looking for a great beer spot. The female working that day had a horrible attitude... my wife thought she was racist. We didn't leave a big tip because the service was terrible, the bartender picks up the paid check and checks the bill and lets out a loud sigh... LOL... we just left. Terrible. If you want a good tip, you should def. fix the attitude first.

The female bartender (likely the one others mentioned in negative reviews) is obviously not loving her job :) First, she noticed, but ignored me for a good 5min, then after having several sips, I realized there was a giant lipstick stain on my glass (should have taken a photo!) She gave me a new beer in a new clean glass, no apology, actually no words said at all - fair enough… then I asked politely if there is a list of cans/bottles, she mumbled something and pointed to the other side of the bar. Uhm, ok thanks, I’m really not a difficult customer… maybe the owner will realize that if a bartender despises their job and people so much, no-one stays for another drink? As a well-raised person, I still left a good tip, which surely went unnoticed, but thanks lady, I might have stayed for a few more drinks, but you made it so painfully clear that customers are unwelcome to hang around for another 😊

They have the best beer in the world here! had a summer Ale from Transmitter, a local brewery across the East River and a great example of the American craft beer movement. The bartender deserves a 50 star rating! Whoever said the she was “xenophobic against Americans,” clearly had no idea what this great nation is really about. Her keen knowledge of the produce of our nation’s brewers and her communication of the craft of brewing, truly represents the independent spirit of our nation’s founders. Washington, Hamilton, Franklin and rest would be proud and happy to be served a pint here!
