Very disappointed. i’m so upset that I actually paid $50 for this. The worst part is that they knew it was aweful. they apologized but then why ask me to pay $50? I asked for the luxury pedi ($40) plus gel ($15). a $5 discount? I was greatful for the massage and she did great right up until the color. It’s supposed to be a 45 min pedicure and I was there for 2 hours. I could tell the technician needed help because another lady had to come and help her. instead of re-doing it, they just added more and more layers of gel nail polish. there was nail polish all over my skin as well. see for yourself. and it started lifting and chipping within 30 mins of leaving. I can’t believe they had the gal to ask me to pay $50 - even when I asked for a discount. She told me they could fix it if I come back. Lady, you had a whole extra hour to fix it. that’s what the extra hour was about- trying to fix it. and you couldn’t. I told her I didn’t live anywhere near mira mesa and that I couldn’t come back. I told them to tip with the $50 I gave them and they had the nerve to tell me I could leave a cash tip. I truly cannot believe that they let me walk out of there with my tiles looking like this. Nail polish all over my skin. ewww. They need to refund

Update: I have been getting my nails done at Tori Nail Bar for about a year now. They are great, all their techs are qualified, the manager is attentive, their prices are fair. Today I got a gel mani for $36 cash. There is an extra fee for card payment. I make it a point to bring cash especially for tipping, but they also take Venmo. First time here. I was looking for a local nail salon. Very pleased. Staff was super nice and I totally love my gel manicure. They were able to get me a same day appointment. I will be coming back. Thank you

Ruby did my set and i absolutely love them. No plastic tip. French ambre with acrylic only( pink and white) Short square , not rounded These are so perfect for me. Price is not super expensive but have had cheaper , Mira Mesa itself is a lil more expensive but not La Jolla expensive But I definitely got quality! I always recommend to my friends. Clean, friendly and safe environment.

I love how careful and attentive to detail she is! I’ve seen a lot of estheticians who rush and the gel ends up being see-through, but this isn’t the case with Sarah! She is the best and takes her time. Pricing and cleanliness is incredible here too. I’m greeted with a smile and a beverage is always offered upon arrival! It can get busy, so appointments will be beneficial for you. UPDATE 9/4/2021 Another great job by Sarah/Thuy! I showed her my Pinterest photo and she did her magic. Prices adjusted for extra art, but still very worth what I paid! Thank you!!!! UPDATE 10/4/2021 This red is gorgeous! I wish I remembered what color it was. Thank you Sarah! She picked out most of the colors needed for the job, besides red and green. I LOVE the Candy Cane Red (#636) and a sparkly green (#582). Can it be Christmas all the time?!!
