It deserves a 5 star rating but they took 20 minutes to open. It was hot standing outside in line in the summer. Once security open the door, the line moves slow cause they check everyone for weapons, which is to be expected with the mentality of the place. But immediately as soon as you walk in .. ITS AMAZING! I loved it, I had such a good time! So much to see and it's interactive! You can touch the exhibits! I took great pictures. We had so much fun! Its so worth the visit. These pictures dont do it justice but you get the idea. The museum was the highlight of my trip, I had been to all the other sightseeing places on previous trips so to find this little gems was great.

The Trap Museum is not a place that I would typically tour. However, my cousin and her husband were in town for the weekend and wanted to visit. For the 1st Hip Hop Museum I think that it was pretty cool. I would have liked to see a little more but hopefully it will have the opportunity to grew and become much more historic as it relate to Hip Hop music. The Museum is tastefully designed with a replica of what a trap house looks like inside.

Parking is 20, scamming parking lot attendants will flag you in and force the payment. Unsure if the lot next to it is cheaper or not but a flag person was there as well. $33 per person for the museum easily was $100 for my crew. The museum is cool but very small with cramped exhibits. Very underwhelming! Should be more like $10. You’ll be in and out in 10 minutes or less. I considered the escape room but due to how underwhelming the museum was, I passed. Staff was nice.

Took the family today and arrived late. Parking was discounted due to time and having children (much appreciated). Door person let my son in free because he spoke politely (much appreciated). There was a man that had held an art class that ended just before my son arrived & he was super nice. He took his sulked back out and helped my 5 year old son paint a house & keep it as a souvenir. He even gave him a juice and oatmeal cream pie. He was very friendly and accommodating and I hope they have him back again for other kids visiting. Experience was worth the trip. We even got hoodies to take home.
