I enrolled in the Trellus Adult Learning Center program, and from the start, my experience has been incredibly frustrating. When I first applied, the caseworker who was supposed to guide me through the enrollment process failed to properly communicate whether I had been accepted into the program. I had no clear confirmation of my enrollment and was left in limbo, unsure of where I stood. When I approached the manager about the caseworker's lack of communication, he completely dismissed my concerns, defending the caseworker and stating that the office was simply “busy.” Despite this, the manager reassured me by assigning me to a new caseworker and assured me that I was "in good hands." However, this caseworker's behavior was even more troubling. On multiple occasions, they failed to place basic toiletries orders for weeks, and when they finally did, I noticed they would purposely leave items off the list. I initially thought it was a mistake, but it became clear that something was off when I placed an order in the office, right in front of them, to ensure the items were included. Right before placing the order, the caseworker intentionally removed an item from the list. It felt passive-aggressive, immature, and unprofessional. Two days after this incident, the caseworker texted me to inform me that I was dropped from the program. They did not have the professionalism to call or provide any explanation. When I asked who made the decision and requested their contact information to discuss the matter, the caseworker never responded. I also emailed the manager, but they never responded either. This entire experience has been incredibly upsetting. I was treated disrespectfully and unprofessionally by multiple individuals, and despite my attempts to resolve the situation, my concerns were consistently ignored. The lack of communication, accountability, and transparency throughout this process has left me deeply disappointed. I urge anyone considering this program to proceed with caution.
