When going to Chinatown, this is the a go-to place for some good-tasting grub. It never disappoints when it comes to quality and quantity. I always leave with my full belly and satisfied. Last time I was there, I waited 30 minutes to get in but it was a lunch hour on a weekend day. Otherwise, the turn over is really quick. One thing that needs improvement is the restrooms. They are very small for the amount of people that dine there.

Better than expected and the expectations were high! Not a big dim sum person but most of the things we got were very good. I do think we ordered slightly too much food for a group of 3 and couldn't finish it all. We ordered a few things the regular menu and I think those were my favorite. Crazy noodles - favorite dish! Super flavorful and a nice balance of all the ingredients. Loved the spice! Salt & Pepper Tofu - so good! The crispyness and thinness of the outer crust combined with the soft and melty inside was genius. All 3 of us burnt our tastebuds with how hot the inside managed to stay but could still taste the flavor. BBQ pork bun - not a fan of pork so the odds were stacked against the dish but I liked it. I wouldn't get it again because I would rather try something else or eat more crazy noodles but it's not a dish I regret. The bread had a great texture. Piggy custard bun - so cute! The bread was bouncy and not overly sticky. The custard was good but not overwhelming. Coconut cake - the only dish I felt decided by because it's definitely jell-o not cake 😆 still tasty but not my favorite since it had a slight aftertaste that I didn't like. Vegetable dumpling - I didn't try this dish since we had so much food. The service was great! We kind of got an assigned server but there was another person who would check in if that person wasn't available. The water cups were never empty which automatically makes it a better experience! We also overheard a customer behind us ordering a variety of food and wanting things packed up in a specific way and the servers were super accommodating. We went on a Monday right when they opened so it was super easy to get a table and we never felt rushed. Not sure how it is on the weekend.

The selection is great and the food is amazing. The service is fair as we weren't sure who was waiting on us. The food comes out very quickly. Our favorite dishes were: Stir-fried Beef Flat Rice Noodles, Har Gow Dumplings and the Sesame Chicken. Avoid getting the Siu Mai (Pork & Shrimp Dumplings).

I enjoyed our visit to Triple Crown. This is my 2md visit here (it's also where I first tried dim sum a few years back). We came on a Saturday evening after finding out the chef was not present at our normal dimsum spot. There was about a 45 minute wait. A bit long, but also testament to the popularity of this place. Once we were seated we were greeted promptly by their waitstaff. The dimsum menu here is about average size for a dimsum restaurant. The normal menu a bit larger. We ordered a variety of dishes. Food all came out promptly. Everything was good. Nothing that I would consider "the best,: but all still much better than the average Chinese restaurant. Serving sizes of the regular dishes we ordered were good, but not huge. Needless to say, we still left with a lot of food. I do recommend this place. Its still mot my #1 choice in Chicago, but it's not too far behind.
