Surprisingly large menu and large outside patio (with no TV) for a sports bar. Good for mixed company of people who are and are not interested in watching a game. BIG primary TV centered around one area w several smaller ones by it and a row of TVs across the back of the long bar offers plenty of TV watching. Happy hour specials (daily?) and everything from pizza to tacos to salads offer lots of options for all dietary needs. Would even recommend even if you aren’t going to watch a game bc of the outdoor patio. Parking can be limited and tricky on the steep incline.

The short rib and chicken tacos were both amazing. Drinks came out in record time. The staff were extremely helpful. And there were plenty of tvs to watch the games. Bathrooms were clean. No complaints. Highly recommend!

Trophy wife exceeds all expectations. This is my new favorite neighborhood bar. It’s a sport bar - a cocktail bar - a delectable culinary experience - a vibe! My boyfriend and I unexpectedly found the bar as we bar hopped through Silverlake on a Saturday evening. We sat at the bar and spent $50+ tip on 2 plates and 2 drinks. It was very satisfying. Here’s a recap of our experience: - food: we shared the tuna tar tar and short rib tacos. Wow. It had generous portions and full of flavor. Tuna tar tar was fresh and cilantro on top was a tasty touch. Tacos had corn tortillas and flavor came together nicely with the sauce on the side. * pro tip: go on Taco Tuesdays for $3 tacos - cocktails: we had “La jefa” and “Smokey & the gin”. Both were delicious but Smokey & the gin has a special place in my heart. A lot of LA bars claim to have spicy drinks but they usually fall short. Smokey&gin is the perfect combination of spicy, refreshing, and smoky. Such a smooth combination of gin and mezcal. - vibe: they had ample space for big groups and intimate couples. Various TVs all across the inside and outside areas. Seemed promising for sports games and good alternative to my favorite sports bar - 33 Taps. * pro tip: follow them on IG @trophywifebar to learn about upcoming events/featured sports - service: staff was incredibly attentive from the second we walked in. - bonus: they’re dog friendly and have pup water bowls 😍 🐶 I’ll edit once I learn more about their happy hour specials.

We had such a great time at Trophy Wife in Silver Lake! We went to watch the Mexico vs. Canada match, and the energy in the place was incredible. A huge shoutout to our server, Kayla—she’s hands down one of the best. From the moment we walked in, she made us feel so welcome and taken care of.
