I visited Tropic Exotic Rescue on Saturday, 6/28, and had such a great experience. Brian helped me and he was amazing so- patient, informative, and kind. He answered all of my (many) questions without ever making me feel like I was bothering him. He explained the difference between adoption and purchasing and really took the time to help me understand what to consider when choosing a bird. Brian showed me several types of birds, including mustache parakeets, a bird related to the ringnecks, and a few conures. But the one that kept pulling my attention I believe was a green Quaker facing the door. I couldn’t stop looking at her. This was actually the first rescue I visited before going to AZ Exotic, and the difference in experience was night and day. AZ Exotic left me feeling discouraged, but the kindness and patience I experienced at Tropic reminded me what this process should feel like. I’m truly grateful for the care and time he gave me, it made all the difference.

Tropic Zone is amazing! We have been going here for years. They have a plethora of food both bagged and bulk. So if your looking for a treat for your feathered friend, or perhaps your looking to add a bird to your family, then this is the place to be! The staff is super cool and willing to help at any given moment. They perform nail trimming and wing clipping as well. Go here for your next bird stop and you wont be disappointed!
