I cannot recommend Tuft Stuff enough! We had a group of seven attend a Saturday class as part of a bachelorette weekend, and it was the most fun, low-stress activity we could have chosen. I don't know how many rugs I actually need in my house, but I'll definitely find space just so I can keep coming back! The class kicks off with a 45-minute interactive tutorial led by Andrew, who makes sure you feel completely comfortable and confident before you even start. It’s hands-on and super engaging, so by the time you get to your station, you feel ready for anything! Throughout the experience, Andrew is always available to answer questions and offer help with designing and finishing your project. Another bonus: Paradise Park is just about two blocks away, and it was the perfect spot to grab some amazing food either before or after our class! I highly, highly recommend Tuft Stuff for any occasion — from bachelorette parties to date nights and everything in between!

We loved our Tuft It Today class experience! The price to value is amazing— hours of instruction and studio time plus a keepsake that you will want to show off. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to try, it was easy, fun and plenty of room for error which made it 100% stress free.

Andrew was a great teacher and making my own rug was super fun! By no means am I an artist, but the finished product was amazing. Great experience for really anybody - would recommend! Edit: We chose the studio finish instead of the quick finish with an estimated wait of 4-5 weeks. It has been longer than the max projected wait for the finished product, so I wanted to include that in the review as well. If you want your rug same day, do the quick finish; if you're okay waiting over a month, I'm sure the studio finish will be great when it is complete.

My girlfriends and I had the BEST time here at Tuft Stuff. The entire class from start to finish was not only fun but was well paced. The start of class included a info heavy intro/how-to by Andrew, the owner. Once it was time to start practicing what the demo had shown us, I felt super confident in getting started. Andrew was helpful, friendly, and balanced all of our questions really well both in the demo portion of class and in the actual tufting part as we were creating our pieces. My design was the hibiscus and I ended up going much simpler on the design once it was projected onto my canvas since the more detailed a design is, the more difficult it is. I'd recommend starting super simple. Wear comfy shoes for this class since it's a concrete floor and you'll want to be standing to do your tufting. Perfect for a girls day or something to do in the city during the winter. Andrew was truly so awesome to work with — this was so much more fun than going to brunch and spending money on overpriced food! Highly recommend this for you and your crew or even a solo date.

We loved our cold night out making the cutest tufted rugs with Andrew! This has been on our list for a while now and I am so glad that I chose Tuft Stuff for our rug adventure. Andrew gave us a quick 30 min tutorial on how to use everything safely. As a person who also works in textiles, I REALLY appreciated the reminded about not wasted the wool because sheep don't make that much wool in their lives and we should be appreciative. Then we practiced a bit and then on to our own rugs. It was very simple to get used to the tufter and I feel like anyone could be able to make a rug. I also felt like it was a very forgiving craft and I could make and FIX my mistakes along the way. Overall a great 3 hours. Worth every penny and I would totally go back to make more rugs!
