Absolutely rude bartender in the back on 7/13. I am usually very helpful/friendly, I understand this industry is very busy on a Saturday night. So I waited 15min for this woman to take my order (despite skipping me) for me and my two girls and by the time she came around she skipped out before I could finish my order. And when she made the first drink, I tried to explain the other two drinks and she had the audacity to lecture me about ordering together when she was the one running away. I didn’t argue and tried to continue to order my other two drinks, literally yelling the order, and she still had things to say to me about what I did wrong. Obviously this bartender was having a bad night. Again, I am usually extremely forgiving and this girl was beyond rude. 0/5 for this bartender, replace her. Love the music of this venue

Went to Tunnel the other night with a few friends. We got in line all ready to go in. One of the workers standing behind us chuckles and says "oh I see what's going on here" and proceeds to go tell the bouncers something we couldn't hear. Then, when checking ID's, the bouncer started picking and choosing which ID's he "thought" were fake including my own. I was very upset by this because as someone who gets told I look very young to be 21, I do not like being judged based of my appearance and I do not like being called a liar. The fact that these bouncers said my ID was fake, means to me that they would not be able to tell a real ID from a fake one. I have NEVER had a problem like this before at any nightclub or bar that I have been to and will not be returning to Tunnel in the future. Do not go here unless you look like you are of age, otherwise they will just judge your age by your look even if you are 21 y/o.

I had an unforgettable night at Tree House Restaurant! The security team was top-notch, making me feel safe and secure throughout my visit. But what really stole the show was the exceptional staff - their warm hospitality and attentive service were truly impressive. And the music at the club upstairs Absolutely electric! The curated playlist was hands-down the best I've ever heard in a club setting. It perfectly complemented the high-energy atmosphere, elevating my overall experience to new heights. The whole venue truly knows how to bring the party! Five stars aren't enough - I'd give Tree House Restaurant and its clubs ten stars if I could! Can't wait to come back and enjoy another fantastic night out!"

The overall experience was an absolute disaster from start to finish. We spent thousands on a table and still had to deal with an unbelievably rude and corrupt bouncer. He charged random amounts to people in our group—$20 for some, $40 for others—and then completely denied one of our friends entry unless he paid $60. When my friend questioned why he was being singled out, the bouncer got angry, kicked him out of the line, and left him freezing outside for over an hour in nothing but a t-shirt. At one point, we even got one of the security officers to come outside and help, but the bouncer was furious and refused to let him in. Even the security officer admitted the bouncer was being unreasonable and "tripping," but he still wouldn’t budge. As if that wasn’t enough, the bouncer stooped even lower and actually spat on my friend while he was waiting outside. Absolutely disgusting behavior. The DJ was awful, the drinks were watered down, and the entire place reeked of chaos and unprofessionalism. This is hands down one of the worst clubs I’ve ever been to. Management, do something about your staff—this bouncer is costing you business and your reputation. Never coming back.

Dress comfortably as you will likely explore multiple sections, and consider comfortable footwear for walking. If you want to visit with pets, confirm the pet-access policies in advance to avoid surprises. Finally, because there are no formal tours or guides within Tunnel, mapping out a rough plan or agreeing on meeting points before dispersing will enhance group cohesion and ensure nobody gets lost in the lively maze. By following these tips, your group is set up to enjoy a smooth, hassle-free adventure underground.

Why do some reviews rate Tunnel as average and how can groups still have a good time?

Tunnel’s modest rating suggests that while many find value in visiting, some experiences may fall short due to factors like limited weekend access, early closing times of shops, or lack of guided tours. These limitations can impact visitors seeking a fully immersive or extensive experience at all hours. However, groups that plan visits during peak operating hours and with clear expectations tend to enjoy their time more. The place’s unique concept and urban setting still offer compelling reasons to meet there. Understanding that Tunnel is more a functional underground city hub than a traditional tourist attraction helps set the right mindset. Groups looking for a casual, atmospheric spot with dining and shopping, combined with an intriguing environment, will find it rewarding despite the average ratings. In fact, being aware of these points encourages more tailored visits that play to Tunnel’s strengths - convenience, variety, and a cool urban ambiance ideal for social gatherings. With smart planning, it remains a strong option for meetups beneath the city’s surface.
