The food was absolutely delicious! While the restaurant is still in its soft opening phase. which may explain some of the mixed reviews. it’s definitely worth a visit. The flavors were fresh, the presentation thoughtful, and the overall experience promising. Looking forward to coming back once they’re fully up and running!

Great service and big portions, but the food was just okay. We enjoyed the baba ganoush and beet yogurt dip, but the shawarma was dry and had a overly sweet mustard sauce on it. They're a new spot so likely just figuring it out, and it was good enough to return and try again.

For still being in the soft open phase, Turkish Village it is a very promising Ann Arbor restaurant! We stopped in after our pottery class and were not disappointed. Excellent service, the food was prompt and delicious, (we especially enjoyed the red lentil soup and the ezme), and the tea was some of the best we’ve had outside of the Middle East. I’m very surprised at the one star reviews, this restaurant literally just opened and is still sourcing some items, but everything we had was delicious and the server was very knowledgeable about the menu and kind about the items they didn’t have yet. We look forward to going back soon!

As someone who grew up eating Turkish food and cuisine and very familiar with Turkish culture, I was very much looking forward to come here. Unfortunately, I was let down. The food is not cooked as Turkish food - and it was not even good Mediterranean food. I got the İskender plate, and what I was served was not İskender. It was dried small pieces of meat, with rice that was not Turkish pilaf (it was yellow with saffron and dry) and the yogurt that it was served with was not you traditional sour yogurt, but Americanized, plain, and tasteless. No garlic sauce or butter, and it was served with a tasteless tomato sauce. I would expect more for paying $25! Then they charged an extra dollar just to have pita chips on top of the salad. I was looking forward to the Turkish tea. One glass was $3.99 - served barely warm, barely seeped, and with no refills! We also got the "pink sultan" - it was a Greek yogurt dip with some beet juice and garlic - it was good but only served with a few slices of pita bread and we had to ask for more. Arabic music was playing - nothing Turkish. We had empty water glasses. Overall, I will not be back. If you're looking for Turkish cuisine, this is not the place. This is the place to go if your looking for mediocre Middle Eastern food.
