Fantastic library. I've been visiting it daily. It's just amazing. Good book collection and all the latest facilities available here. Printing stations available. Good seating arrangements available here. Probably the best place to study.

Dingy and packed, but to be expected for UIC. Good hours - staff is helpful and you can count on checking out a book with no difficulties. Wifi is restricted for guests - register online through the "self-service" signup if you need to borrow their internet.

Friendly staff and decent amount of space most of the time. But the tech and some of the other resources are pretty outdated. The majority of computers run so slow that they are borderline usable. Wish the university dedicate more of its budget to updating the tech resources here and improving spaces in the building :(

Clean bathrooms, comfy, cozy and the AC/Heat are always working year round at the temperature they should be. Idea Commons is my favorite place on campus to come and study. The staff are always ready to help you. Downside is not being able to eat in a section of the Idea Commons where there are empty vending machines, but I get it. If there is a spill or something, it will just be left for the cleaning staff. They are here to keep the property tidy, not to clean up after grown adults' carelessness. :D

WiFi here is horrible! You would think a library has the facilities to allow you to get work done, but I spend half my time trying to connect, then reconnecting to the WiFi.
