We just had our wedding reception at upstairs. The venue is beautiful with lots of natural light. The bartenders were kind and helpful. However, the reason I selected an indoor venue for our wedding is knowing that weather in Georgia can be unpredictable in June. It can be very hot and/or rainy. Unfortunately both were true on the day of our wedding and the indoor venue did nothing to mitigate. It was almost unbearably hot inside. We asked the staff several times to turn the air up and they said it was as high as it could go. Additionally, there was a leak in the ceiling that they put a drip bucket underneath. The water dripping into the bucket splashed back up onto our guests. Far from ideal, especially considering how expensive the venue is. I brought these issues up with the manager before writing a public review and nothing was done to compensate or make amends. Additionally, we were charged for an additional 30 minutes of event time that we did not authorize. For the price we paid, we would’ve been better off outside. Do not recommend for a summer event.

Words cannot express how gorgeous Upstairs Atlanta was for our wedding. Not only did the photos turn out stunning because of how unique and naturally beautiful the building is, but our guests loved how intimate and functional the setting was. We did our ceremony and reception inside the great room and cocktail hour on the patio -- it was just the right amount of space for our 100 person wedding. The acoustics were great for the ceremony and bumping for the reception. On top of that the venue offers a lot of extras that most venues around Atlanta do not, which was a huge plus for us as we were comparing different venues. My favorite part of all is the staff, they are kind and accommodating, the venue coordinator Kelsey was so prompt in answering my million questions and helping us schedule our big day. Thank you Upstairs Atlanta for a magical day!

Having Upstairs Atlanta as our wedding venue is something that we will cherish forever. It was the perfect size for 140 people; not too big but not too small. We did both the ceremony and reception inside with the cocktail hour on the patio. They did a great job flipping the space in a reasonable amount of time. Kelsey was such an incredible help to make the space work for us. I’d highly recommend!
