I went there about a week ago. The place reminded me of New Orleans right away. We ordered the po boy shrimp samdwich and the chips with caramelized onion dip off the lunch menu and the brisket sandwich off the specials. All the food was very good. Highly recommend that caramelized onion dip, delicious. The service was amazing as well! Lots of good vibes and good food overall.

This is a high class establishment with a middle class price tag. Their local craft beers are delicious, and their burgers are to die for. Food is made to order with particular attention to special requests. Elijah was a great staff member, but really everyone I interacted with was courteous and professional. This really supercharged my day.

It was my first time at Uptown Sports Club. I went for Saturday lunch. First impression: good vibe, busy place. It reminded me of New Orleans halls (without the jazz band). I little noisy for my taste, but that was to be expected. Food: I ordered a bowl of gumbo and a basket of hush puppies. Gumbo: It was not a seafood gumbo but a chicken and sausage one (andouille, I assume, but not specified). The dark roux was there, but the whole was missing heat and depth. A little too bland for my taste. Hush puppies: Sorry to say, but I could not finish them. Lacking cornmeal, too much flour. Tasted gummy. Also, I wish they were not salted before they got to my table. Too heavy on the salt. Let me fo the salting at my taste. Service: Very quick and attentive. Much appreciated. Thank you. Overall: Buzzy place, very popular, but if they wanted to emulate Louisiana food, it's off the mark. I may come back for another try but not impressed by the food. I know, I am picky, but I am a French chef, after all. Chef Alain Braux

This New Orleans style restaurant, is the brainchild of Aaron Franklin and at least one partner that, looks like from what my wife says, very traditional New Orleans looking place. We had their special New Orleans menu. That was only there for Fat Tuesday. March 1-4, so I'm not going to spend a lot of time with it, but those are huge shrimp. She loved her po' boy. The benignets were incredible. And look at mine, this was some of Franklin's world famous brisket, deep fried, oh, my. It was absolutely spectacular...it was awesome..

Very cool vibe, awesome wait staff but I feel like every time I come here, the fries always look like they are over fried, same thing with the hush puppies, too dark for my liking but the ABSOLUTE star of the show is actually a brand new item called the Pimento Cheese Burger, the flavors in that burger are insanely delicious! That burger is definitely one that should permanently stay on the menu! Four stars for the overdone fries .
