I hardly ever write reviews and never want to talk badly about a business. But this needs to be said. I have given this wine store three chances and every time they have been extremely rude, cold and condescending. I am a qualified sommelier with 15years experience, who has worked and set up some of the best restaurants in New York City. I chose not to tell people this when buying wine as I love to hear their take on things and some wine makers that I may have missed. Each time I went into this store I was talked down to,scoffed at, and made to feel like a fool when I was asking about different varieties. Also, the information I was giving was wrong. I am confident in my own knowledge, to not let this panic me to pick a run instead. But imagine if you are not a wine professional…? Add to that the selection is all mixed up and there is no order. Oh, I have to mention the price. There are wines there that can be purchased for around $5 that are priced for over $50. I will not be going back to this store even if I am in a hurry. I urge you to do the same. This type of business does not deserve any support. Especially when others are working so hard to keep a float. Sorry, but it needed to be said.
